I don’t know what to be more pissed about — the fact that the US government is attempting to appease North Korea or the fact that North Korea is still being belligerent.
This whole Korea crisis has a very bad taste to it.
By all accounts, North Korea is dirt poor. They are not winning any international support by reviving their nuclear weapons programs. They’re not winning any points by pissing off the US. What exactly is their strategy?
Do the leaders of North Korea think they will rally world opinion against the US with this little game they’re playing? Are they really that stupid?
Whatever the case, they better be thanking whatever fucked up gods they worship over there that we’re neck-deep in Iraq right now.
I’ll bet big money that as the Iraq crisis draws to a resolution, North Korea will shut the fuck up and be the good little impoverished third world nation that it is.
Hat in hand, conciliatory and begging for aid.
Those bastards make me ill.
